Musicians:

We're looking for 2 guitar players, a keyboardist, bass guitar player, and a drummer that desire to be a part of new worship band at The Living Word Bible Church in Mesa, AZ. The vision for this band is one of unity, very tightly knit together, easy to flow with each other and with the Holy Spirit, and to lead the congregation right into the heart of God and into the manfiestation of his word. Together as a team, we will have an expectation and spend time praying and dreaming together to agree with the word for the body, to take time to hear from the heart of God and agree with Him and see those things in the supernatural taking place, well before services. The team will share in a desire to see the glory of God revealed in services through healings and signs and wonders, etc. The team will be comprised of those who have a pure love for the Lord and a love for worship and are wholeheartedly and joyfully committed to seeing the Lord glorified through their worship. Players will have a hunger and willingness to go deep in their commitment to the Lord and to his vision for using this team for his purposes.

We have a specific vision for this new worship band/team that will require a higher level of commitment than what some musicians may be used to, especially for a volunteer position, but we trust God has already gone ahead and has these special people in mind who will be willing to make that commitment and will be excited and full of joy in their service to Him, because inside, they KNOW this is what they were created to do! This is an important ingredient - we're seeking those who KNOW this is something the Lord has called them to and not just a hobby or something they're good at, but this is something the Lord gives them dreams and visions of and tugs on their heart about.

Commitment will consist of:

*Rehearsals will be every Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30-6:00 p.m.

*In November and December band will have 1 extra rehearsal each week (for a total of 3) so that the we can become comfortable with each other and with the music (rehearsals will go down to twice per week in January, once the band begins playing regularly together in services) This one extra rehearsal in Nov. and Dec. will likely be on Sundays in the late afternoon - in the 3-4:30 p.m. range

*Beginning in January band will play twice per month on Thursdays until 7:30 p.m. and once per month on Wednesday until 7:30 p.m.

*When the band is polished, there will be opportunity for playing once a month for the Sunday morning and evening services (9:15 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.). So, to prepare for this progression, you will need to have at least one Sunday per month free to play at these service times and you will have the date a month in advance.

*We would like for this band to also be open to and available for playing additional services as needed (youth services, special events, or increasing frequency on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays as the church needs). So, the more flexible your schedule can be, the more that is an asset to this group, but its not mandatory that you be available whenever for whatever just saying that being open to playing more if/when the church has an additional need is a great thing.

This band will play originals and covers. Some songs may have an alternative rock, edgy style but others will be pop/contemporary. Some songs will be very simple, especially for worship so that the congregation can easily enter in, and other songs will involve more intricate parts. Some cover songs will be from artists such as: Cris Tomlin, Lincoln Brewster, Casting Crowns, Christ for the Nations, Hillsong, Vicki Beeching, and plenty of others.

We're excited to meet those we know the Lord has gone ahead and prepared for this new worship team!! We are scheduling interviews for Friday, November 6th and would like to get started on rehearsals right away, so please only respond if you are available to start rehearsing by mid November and are prepared to start playing in services beginning in January.

Rock Band Looking for Bass player and singer

PaintedSidewalk is looking for a singer and bass player (age 16-17) in atleast west Phx, Az.
We are practice in the drummer backyard and just want to make a band to play for the Lord and have fun. So far we have a guitarist and a drummer. Hi,
I'm currently seeking a position as an acoustic guitarist-rhythm or lead, bass player - upright or electric, vocalist - lead or harmony in the Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert area. I have over 20 years experience playing Christian music for church services, a heart for the Lord, and believe I need to give back the gifts God has given me.

I was recently employed at Grace Community Church, and due to budget cuts they let all the stipend players go. I'm a man of Christian values, easy to work with, dependable, and respectful. I've got great referrals, and would be happy to play at a service as an audition.
